About me
Welcome and thank you for visiting my website. My name is Magdalena Surowiecka I was born in Tarnow, Poland. In 2007 I moved to Leicester, Great Britain. I have been fascinated with photography ever since I received my first camera as a birthday gift from my grandparents, at the tender age of ten. My passion for photography involves capturing precious moments on camera and creating a beautiful souvenir which will stay forever. After a few years, finally I decided to complete my studies. I chose a course named `Media` at DMU. I am almost at the end of my first term and simultaneously work as a Supervisor. I strongly believe that after a year, when I pass all the exams and get into university, my life will change dramatically. It will be my new path to a better future and maybe better job opportunities. This extra year will certainly allow me to gain courage and self-confidence. As you can see I am very determined to make all of my dreams come true.
PASSION
I love to take a wide range of photographs. However, photography is not my only hobby....I am fascinated by extreme sports and I`m addicted to adrenaline. Every free moment I spend near nature allows me to see nature through the eyes of a future photographer. Very often I am trying to take my camera with me on the walk.
One may ask, why I focus more on children in photography. I know it can be challenging to shoot with kids involved, but it`s worth it. I love capturing the raw emotions that children feel, as they don`t hide their emotions. They draw joy from the smallest of things and make us adults try to see the world from a different perspective...

Vision
In the future, I imagine living in a quiet, small town on the magnificent Swiss hills with a breath-taking stream next to a cafeteria where I could drink my favorite coffee every morning. My wildest dream is to see my vernissage there, so people could see the world with my eyes. I do not know if I will be famous, I believe I don`t need to be. I hope my future children will also feel a special bond with the camera and forward to sharing the joy that I experience through the magic of photography...
